Duncan Wigan er adjunkt ved International Center for Business and Politics på Copenhagen Business School. Han fik sin doktorgrad med afhandlingen A Global Political Economy of Derivatives: Risk, Property and the Artifice of Indifference ved University of Sussex i 2008. Hans vigtigste forskningsmæssige interesser er det globale finansielle system, finansiel innovation og regulering.
