Michael C. Williams er professor ved University of Ottawa, hvor han forsker i international politisk teori, sikkerhedsstudier og politisk filosofi.

Williams er forfatter til “The Realist Tradition and the Limits of International Relations” fra 2005 og “Culture and Security: Symbolic Power and the Politics of International Security” fra 2007.
