This course is intended for early career researchers in the field of engineering. It aims to raise researchers' awareness of international standards for a research publication. It is planned to be interactive and practice-oriented. The hands-on activities will be based on research samples from nano-technology area. Participants will discuss strategies for better writing, field-specific conventions, and possible pitfalls.
The course will continue with a follow-up session for writing instructors focused on how to assist researchers in writing for publication.
We offer two tracks:
1. Researchers' track — for early career researchers in the field of engineering — 10-hour training

The group size is limited to 20 participants, who are required to bring a draft of their publication.
2. Instructors' track — for Writing Instructors — observation of 10-hour training and 4-hour reflection and methodology training

The group size is limited to 30 participants, who should have experience in teaching academic writing.
